Even a wise poet can meet a question that opens a new door.
At Pazhamudircholai, tradition tells of Avvaiyar meeting Murugan in the form of a young boy. A playful exchange about fruit becomes a lesson in the limits of assumed knowledge.
The story offers a gentle invitation to remain curious. We can enjoy its meaning while remembering that Avvaiyar is an honorific associated with more than one Tamil poet, not a single biography into which every story should be placed.
